This is the second video of the “Roscon 2016” Cosplay event. Please read the introduction to the original video, see “Corresponding media” above! This second video has the identical video footage, but a different audio track. Jeny’s English teacher was hired to do an English voiceover. She got the sound files with the Russian interviews and translated it, speaking in perfect pronunciation. But it was emotionless, because the translator couldn’t see what Jeny was doing in these scenes, the fun factor got lost. One cannot decide about who is talking, because female interviewer and (mostly male) interviewees have the same voice. And you cannot hear Jeny’s voice anymore.
So the subscriber’s reactions afterwards have been quite clear: the majority wanted to hear Jeny’s voice, not the voice of a different female speaker. That is one of the reasons why from then on Jeny and Alex used English subtitles in videos instead of English voiceovers. (ATS)
